The aim of our RE curriculum is to provide children with a range of opportunities to promote an ethos of respect for others and their beliefs; challenge stereotypes and build understanding of other cultures.  It should provide a positive context within which the diversity of cultures, beliefs and values can be celebrated and explored, which will in turn contribute to promoting a positive and inclusive school ethos that champions democratic values and human rights tailored to the needs of pupils and the community in which we live.

Whilst we believe that it is crucial for children to learn about the cultures and beliefs of others, parents have the right to withdraw their child from part or all of the RE curriculum. If you wish to do so, please email your request to admin@ivanhoeprimary.co.uk.
