Mrs Toller has asked me if she should organise a disco for Easter – perhaps in the last week of this term like Thursday 10th April. I said that I thought it would probably be very popular with children, so she asked me to ask you what you would like at the disco. An obvious one is Easter bonnets – and a competition for the best one, but maybe older children would like a crazy hair competition or something…I don’t know if people like the face-painting that we do – is that popular? What sort of stalls and games would people like to see? Mrs Toller always likes to hear what children would like so that she can make the disco brilliant – so do let her know!
I hope that all the children and their parents enjoyed the delicious treats that Chartwells provided for the two Parents’ Evenings this week. The idea was to give everyone a little taste of what children are offered at this school. We had cottage pie, pasta bolognese, vegetable curry, vegetable bolognese, chilli and chimichangas with rice and salad. We had bread made by children and for pudding, coconut sponge, chocolate crunch, flapjack and ginger cake. Please can children ask their parents what they thought of the food and blog and let us know 🙂
