As we come up to our 4000th blog (we are very close) I think it might be an idea to talk about some of the healthy things that we eat. As a school, we are always very keen for children (and adults) to eat healthily because we know that what you put in your body helps you today, tomorrow and for life. At lunch today, I had shepherdess pie, carrots and peas, so I had at least two of my five a day just there. When I looked at the dinner trolleys, I saw lots of variety and lots of great food. If I think about the vegetables that I have at school, I think my favourite is the crunchy cabbage, though I also love the mushrooms that are used in the mushroom stack. At home I love to eat blueberries in the morning because it starts my day well. So what do you eat that is healthy – either at school or at home and what would you recommend to others?
